We're happy to see that ImportGenius.com clients buying goods from South Korea will earn a badly-needed break on their tariffs.  By agreeing to an extensive free trade agreement with South Korea, the United States has reached its broadest free trade agreement since joining NAFTA.  Already the seventh largest trading partner of the United States, Korea's share of U.S. trade is likely to grow even further if the deal is passed by the legislatures of both countries.  When Barack Obama came into office he pledged to double U.S. exports, so the administration is pointing to this agreement as a step toward that ambitious goal. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, an important lobby for American business, offered praise for the agreement.
